Nulose MC are polymers used as suspension agents, thickeners, emulsion stability agents, and protective colloids. For pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications, low-viscosity and medium-viscosity Nulose MC can be used for tablets or tablet coatings. In contrast, high- viscosity Nulose MC is used for controlled-release formulations. Highly substituted low-viscosity Nulose MC is used for water-based coating. Highly substituted high viscosity Nulose MC is used in eye drops and preparations of gels, ointments, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics creams.
