PROLOSE LH: Low Substituted Hydroxypropyl Cellulose (L-HPC)

Prolose LH is the low substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose (L-HPC). They are used as binders and disintegrants for tablets, granules, or other solid dosage forms. L-HPC is insoluble in water and alcohol but will swell in water.

Prolose LF is conventional hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC). They are used as efficient binders and film-formers in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications. HPC can be used as a thickener and emulsion stabilizer in food and cosmetic applications. They are soluble in water and polar organic solvents.
